Flirt4Free Unveils $20K Prize Pool in 'Be My Valentine' Contest

LOS ANGELES — Flirt4Free has announced details for the site’s annual holiday event, the "Be My Valentine Promo & Contest," which runs from midnight (EST) on February 9 through midnight on Valentine’s Day.

The site is offering fans six days to celebrate the Valentine’s season while models compete for their share of $20,000 in cash prizes. A rep explained the main event is the Candy Hearts competition, which centers on members tipping their favorite camgirls and camguys virtual candy hearts. The prize pool features a $1,500 first-place payout for the models who collect the most hearts. Performers adept at member engagement will also be awarded up to $1,500 by earning hearts from the highest number of unique members.

Customers can purchase candy hearts for 50 credits each, or 40 for VIP subscribers, and send them one at a time, or in amounts of their choosing. When a model receives seven or more hearts in a single "tip flood," a special Valentine’s Day animation will light up the chatroom in honor of the customer's generosity.

Models and fans who follow the company on Twitter can take part in the #14DaysOfFlirt giveaway. Every day through Valentine’s Day, the network will give away free swag and credit packages to contestants who qualify.

“Valentine’s Day couldn’t have come at a better time,” Director of Product Jamie Rodriguez said. “With many of us feeling a little extra lonely this year, it’s the perfect time to take stock of the deep connections you make in your life, whether in the flesh or on live cam.”
